Ogbonna Uche Named General Manager of Lake Houston Flight Ahead of 2026 NBL-US Season

Lake Houston, TX — The Lake Houston Flight, one of the founding franchises of the National Basketball League-United States (NBL-US), proudly announces the appointment of Ogbonna Uche as the new General Manager for the 2025–2026 season. Uche becomes the latest addition to the Flight’s growing front office team as the franchise prepares for its fourth competitive season in the NBL-US.

The appointment marks a strategic move to elevate the team’s competitive and business operations under new leadership with a proven track record of discipline, community awareness, and player development.


A Legacy of Consistency and Aspiration

Since their inception in 2020, the Lake Houston Flight has consistently soared above expectations:

  • 2020 – Semi-Finals finish in inaugural NBL-US season

  • 2022 – Fifth place finish with a strong regular-season showing

  • 2023 – Advanced to the NBL-US Championship Game, solidifying the Flight as one of the league’s elite programs

With a record of strong showings and loyal fan engagement, the Flight has earned a reputation as a respected cornerstone of the NBL-US and a model of consistent growth.
